Wellness bijou with a view

The Alpenrose hill is the most central location in Riederalp: unique and unobstructed. In 1906 a tiny little mountain hotel was built, which in the course of time has been renovated three times and extended. This is the Hotel Alpenrose. Beside, and connected to, the hotel main building are the suite hotels Casa Arturo and Casa Andrea: two beautiful chalets in the best location, with a unique wellness bijou with Jacuzzi and a splendid view of the Valaisan Alps, sauna, steam room, massage room, experience-shower, ice cave, Kneipp-pools and relaxation room with heated loungers - all you need for a perfect wellness holiday. Tastefully decorated junior and family suites with luxurious bathrooms offer the very best in living comfort. Free WI-FI internet access is provided throughout the hotel.

The Alpenrose has become the pinnacle of activity in Riederalp. A childrens' ski paradise, ski-school meeting point, training and main lifts, cable car station and boutiques as well as the Valaisan «four thousand meter giants» circle the hotel. For the food-lovers, we can recommend the hotels own pizzeria Boccalino, the Valaiser Kanne and the Rösti-cellar. And for a drink afterwards, try the Älplibar.

This coming summer the reception area of the Hotel Alpenrose will be completely refurbished. Also, the pizzeria kitchen will be extended and the restoration planned for winter 2008 will bring a further 40 comfortable places to the restaurant Cervinio.
