Idyllically car-free

The Art Furrer Resort is idyllically situated on the car-free Riederalp, directly next to Europe's highest 9-hole golf course, and boasts an unobstructed view of the Valaisan Alps. The resort consists of the following:

Ski- and Gofstarhotel Valaisia****
Feudal Suites (25-60m2) decked out in walnut, with luxurious bathrooms, seating area, mini bar, satellite TV, radio, private telephone with analogue internet connection. Most of the suites have south-facing balcony. Offering the very best in comfort for those with high demands. Direct access to the swimming pool (salinated instead of chlorinated), sauna, two steam baths and a solarium.

Hotel Art Furrer***
Comfortable 3-star hotel with large south-facing double rooms (30m2) in a rustic style. All rooms have bath or shower, WC, hairdryer, seating corner with table, radio, satellite TV, private telephone and a south-facing balcony with a tremendous view over the golf course and onto the Valaisan Alps.

Art Furrer's Family Hotel
Large apartments with living / bedroom, 1-2 bedrooms, bath / WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, private telephone and south-facing balcony. For small children we provide baby changing mats, nappy bins and a baby-food warmer. In winter we also offer a family buffet and in summer we have special children's menus.

The Art Furrer Resort boasts two restaurants, the Tenne and the Art Furrer Stube (tavern). Our sun-terrace will be converted into a winter garden in the coming winter and will serve as a breakfast and dining room for the hotel's guests. It will be directly accessible from the Valaisia Hotel. The wellness area has a swimming pool, a sauna and two steam baths. Wireless internet access is provided in the hotel lobby and in the Art Furrer Stube, and at the reception there is a free internet corner.
